Welcome everybody to this website and this blog.
Intuition has been mentioned in connection with wellbeing many times. But never was it presented, I believe, as the main ingredient of wellbeing, the one ingredient without which there cannot be wellbeing. This is the main reason why this website, looking as sweet as it may (and why not?), presents a little revolution in the field of helping people become happier. This revolution will not require fighting with anyone. It will only show its ability to help people quickly deeply and lastingly.
I don’t want to call it psychotherapy or psychology, because it does not come from any psychological theory. But it does come from understanding human beings. I would even say, relatively deep understanding. And I believe that in most cases it does not contradict psychological knowledge.
And I am not the first and certainly not the only one who knew all this.
So, what is intuition, and why is it so important in our lives?
Intuition is a knowing without having to think about it. Just knowing. What is known is not any theory or even facts. It is a knowing of what to do in the moment, so that the doing that will be done will make us happier. And it will make everybody around us happier as well. It is all about happiness.
This knowing arises spontaneously in all situations and all we have to do is notice it and act on its directions. It is the most natural thing to do, but usually we mask intuition with many subconscious thought-made filters, and we miss its messages.
Babies are experts in being intuitive. They don’t have heavy filters yet, when they start their journey. This is why we can’t resist loving them, and this is how, being intuitive, they make us happy (and intuitive) too. We become intuitive when we love them because the love that we feel and act on, does not come from thinking. Where does it come from, then?
I won’t write anymore now. Instead I invite you to respond, to add, to comment, to ask. And we shall have a conversation. I will moderate the comments but won’t exclude a comment because it contradicts me. My moderation will be very open and relaxed. So please feel free to engage with me and with the other participants. Ask me questions about anything. I hope we will have good time with it.
Love,
Giora
